Yesterday I completed my first aid training for Scouts. It was in a dusty scout hall in a driech East Kilbride that the course was being run by a Scouting para medic called Gareth. It seemed like a long day as I have in the deep dark past been a first aider and actually haven't forgotten what I need to do. I just hope I don't need to ever use it. Over the last couple of weeks I have been filling up my card basket as I seemed to have run out of birthday cards! I have had fun using my new Memory Box die to cut sprigs to layer up many of the new cards I have created, many of them layered with Spellbinders scalloped ovals with bible verses stamped on. I have been impressed with the results and I have uploaded photos to Fabulous Crafts on Facebook for you to have a look at. I also have been playing with my Geli plate. It was good to share the reults with Sandra when she was here last week. There are some lovely backgrounds created to go on some cards. I won tickets this week for the craft show at the SECC in March from Remnant Kings. I am really looking forward to going to see all the stalls and get lots of ideas and hopefully get a few bargains as well! Now it is time to go and read some other inspiring blogs; Barbara Grey, Genlteman crafter for starters and then we will see what else we have time for.
